The MLB Championship Series field is set. Royals-Blue Jays and Cubs-Mets. With the exception of the Royals who ended their 29 year playoff drought last year, we are looking at 3 teams who have waited at least 7 years to enjoy the thrill of playoff baseball. Ironically, the team who most recently won the World Series is the same Blue Jays who previously held the longest playoff drought before winning the pennant in the American League East this year.
